Come on, aren't you bored silly yet?

Yes, as a matter of a fact I am, but first, a couple of points need to be made.

Well at least I did not say your thesis was rubbish and get in your face.

I distinguish between challenging another's ideas and personal attacks. Mr GJ called me a liar a few months ago, something to the effect that I like to "talk the talk but don't walk the walk." It was an inappropriate personal attack to which I chose not to respond. My characterizing his thesis as "rubbish" was a challenge to an idea he was setting forth. I attacked the idea, not the man.

Second, I'm glad and encouraged that my "obscure references" to White Rabbit were understood in the appropriate context. The whole premise of the "Professional versus Amateur" thread strained logic and proportion beyond recognition, in fact, sloppy dead. Since you did catch my drift, I suspect others did as well, so just how obscure could it have been?

As for France, it keeps me from taking myself, or anyone else in this venue too seriously. You should think about a title for yourself, it really does keep one from staying too sober.
