re: bear's case.... not exactly (at least not my thinking).

oil prices should collapse back to the mid teens when equity prices worldwide crash. Book value on NE is around 10 bucks. NE's business deserves anywhere from a 7 to 9 multiple on earnings (currently 32x)and maybe less unless the Fed has decided to conitnue printing and give us all 25% t-bill rates, which i doubt. i am HOPING that most will be thinking depression and deflation and dump the drillers to below book value where i can scoop them up cuase think that the US ius headed for massive inflation down the line due to the massive printing operation being undertaken by the clowns down at the Fed. eventually the mkt will move rates high enough that equities will collapse then everything should got to hell, justy depends on how fast it happens, that's why i said we need some acceleration. could be 6 months for NE to hit a new low, but i think it'll do it.

but maybe not.. we'll just have to see.... for now i am waiting for lower prices, but i could change my mind
