Yes Chris, the Temple is on the same ground as the Muslim Dome. Recent speculation based on Scriptural interpretation is that the third Temple will be rebuilt before the second coming. How that will play out is only known by God. The fact that the European Union(the start of the revised Roman Empire??) is now here, contributes to speculation. Badkarma is correct when he says that all this has been said for centuries. He may be right again for now, but at some point the chamber with the shell in it will wind up in front of the firing pin. For Chris Land, Alan W and C Kahn: Chris: Thats been a long standing prophecy for many years, that the temple would have to be rebuilt. And your right, the dome is built on it. That was one of the things that was supposed to set off some of the wars. I firget the scripture that was supposed to be based on. As for previous posts on whats lining up: My point was, when I refered to previous declarations that jesus was coming back etc, was that this millenium is not the first time that prophecy is supposed to be "linning up". C Kahn: Who's trying to argue? There was a subtle point to be made in my question.
