Very prudent advice, Rick. Us unemployed guys have to be a little more conservative.

Were you this cautious before you got rich <g>.

uf

btw, I sold my aafax's on Friday. Risk/reward ratio was getting too large for my taste.

Diamond,

<Here's my take FWIW. I sold my Jan 400's yesterday morning and my Jan 330's this
morning. I did NOT like the way the premiums were eroding so quickly. If we flatline
for the rest of the month...which is a possibility...those calls would end up being worth A
LOT less (with the 400's being worthless). Regardless of what others may feel here, we
are NOT guaranteed further upside for December.

I have raised this issue before but...the world now knows about Q and the split...who is
left to buy the stock?
-We've had our pre split run up
-We've had our Santa Claus rally
-The handset sale is already factored in

That said, holding the stock would be fine, but playing the dice with Jan calls at this
point is not prudent...especially with the way the premium has been eroding. The street
is telling us something.>

The street is quiet, the houses are making all the noise. Beware. I also have the 330,350,400s. Can't say i am loving the action, but its part of the game. The impact of the split, as we get closer, and the handset deal are still going to have a huge impact, imo.

Staying pat,

Ruff

Diamond, I too have reverted back to just holding the stock and hold no options positions.

<<Regardless of what others may feel here, we are NOT guaranteed further upside for December.>>

These last few months have been wonderful from both a portfolio and trading perspective. I've raised some cash in the non-Q side of the portfolio and am patiently waiting for some end of the year opportunities, be they long or short.

Good luck,

Cooters

I wonder if I should do the same, Diamond. Cut a bit of loss now and play it safe. I've been watching the erosion, too. But you say in a month they'll be worthless. They have until 3rd week of January.
