Funny Uncle Frank. Very funny. I won't even consider selling until you guys and Lindy give the word. I'm holding, holding and holding some more. But I actually do feel a bit guilty buying a GSM phone. (I especially like seeing Q's logo on the back of my Touchpoint - so I will admit to being emotionally attached. With so much on the line it would be unnatural not to.) But rather than contributing to "group think" and bashing "them," including TDMA, I'll use both and be able to compare their data rates first hand.

I've noticed Eric maintains a clear head, even though I've tried to head-butt him on CDMA vs. the "inferior" technologies. I tend to see things in black and white and that's bad - the curmudgeon in me again to be sure. Remember GSM doesn't have to disappear for Q's stock to rise 5 or even 10 fold from here.

Plus, we all know CDMA is superior, but there's much more to it than that. The situation is more politically complicated than I know. I'm relaxed. I can wait. Dr. Jacobs knows what he's doing. I believe that for sure.

Using both phones is just another form of cheap research, IMO. And then I'll have something else to chew on with my fellow curmudgeons.

BTW, I am wondering if anyone is thinking about the upcoming Palm spin-off. Clearly it's a W&W situation, but they could become the wireless OS standard and are surely giving CE a run for its money (and I use a Jornada myself). All my files are in boxes so can't share what I've gathered in detail right now.

So is this just another shiny pebble?
