Finally visited San Diego's first Best Buy. On display were Athlon 700: Compaq
Athlon 600: Compaq and IBM
Athlon 550: IBM
Athlon 500: Compaq and IBM
CuMine 733: HP
Pentium III 600: 1
Pentium III 550: 1
Pentium III 500: 2
Lesser systems included some PIII-450's, K6-2-475's and K6-2-500's and, of course Celerons outnumbered the PIII's.

I have no clue where the stacked boxes are that others refer to, I didn't see any in the computer section.
