CNBC reports about cisco and Wi-Lan but states that
cisco will try to commoditize VOFDM and hence give it away
if necessary.

Jim regarding wireless wonk, who does he work for and what is his position? I got the feeling from your post that it might be Cisco. While he brought up the importance of the patent issue, he also appeared to be trying to cast some doubt about the WIN patents.
