I don't know what to make of that note. I've never been able to make that work, ergo, we don't support it. If someone will learn me the trick, I'll post it to the Tips & Tricks page.

Morning Gibbons. Looking back at that note from Daniel, it looks like he was talking only about graphing. This I can get to work. For example, in the "Symbol" dropdown editing box (in the upper left corner of QCharts), I select INDEX:TYX.X from the dropdown list, then add "/10" to the end (with a space before the "/"), and then start a new chart. Now the ordinate (y) scale is the bond yield, i.e, in the range of 6%-7%, rather than 60-70. It doesn't appear that you can accomplish this by editing or entering the formula in a Quotesheet though.

So it's:

  INDEX:TYX.X /10

in the "Symbol" dropdown editing box.

Gibbons, I can the symbol window to work. It pull down a 2 by 10 inch blank box. I can only get one quote at time, it will not save the symbols. I have tried View>Preferences>Workspaces>Change value to zero>click OK,then exit QCharts. Restart and then go back through the clickstream and change the value to 30,click OK. Exit againsaving all on the way out. Nothing works it does not save symbols regardless. Please help me.

Gibbons,

Here is a problem that maybe you will be interested in....

I did the following test because I thought I was handed a market fill at a very wrong price. My normal mode is to fire off a buy at the market while watching QCharts 1 min chart of the ES99Z as well as a T&S window that are only 2 inches apart on my screen.

Here is what I see while looking at the same ES99Z symbol on 2 different computers........BOTH of them connected to QCharts at the same time yesterday.

First a little background,
Computer A is running on a dial up modem at 49333,
Computer B is on a diferent ISP running at 31000,,
Both computers are running your latest Beta
Both are using the same Workspace,,,although B is on a smaller screen as it is a laptop.

T&S window with the es99z in it displaying time and price on both machines,,,,,,

One machine displays 15:38:42 and the price......from server X,,,
The other machine displays 15:39:48 and a different price...from server Y,,the price is close if you count 1.00 to 1.50 pts close.

This brings me to,,,,when I see a price on server X ,,,I think it's correct,,,,not knowing that server Y has allready sent that price and time to others. So now I get a fill at a much different price,,,because the price I was watching is aprox 1 min old.

Now I assume that S&P Comstock is sending what the have without delay,,,,is it possible that somewhere there is a car parked on the fire hose ?

I tried to do the same test this morning and for some reason your system kept me out.

Thanks
Hal
