This unit was also reviewed in The Washington Post's Fast Forward section a few fridays ago, and basically the reviewer gave it something like an avoid rateing, he basically said to wait for better products to hit the market.

Lyra still doesn't play inter-format (MP3/G2...Lol) seamlessly. The player has problems switching in real time between the two formats. Even if people don't swap files initially, the MPX format could be a problem for users who'd like to play their files on a home or auto system. We can't ask the consumer to purchase Internet music for portables, and CD's for their homes and automobiles.

Even our resident accountant should understand that.
