Will 2000 be the year for IWA? This is the latest commentary from speculativestocks.com "We have not commented on our last guest pick, International Wayside Gold for a while as with the Christmas period and snow in the drilling area things have obviously slowed down. We did hear though that the company was buying more drilling equipment to augment the drills already on the property. Now you do not buy more drilling equipment if nothing is going on, nor do you buy it if there is no expectation of use, so we expect more announcements to come out from the Company in the near future. The property sits right beside an all weather highway so access is not really a big consideration. The only real barrier is the cold weather which makes the drilling process a little less attractive, but a drilling shed normally takes care of that. So our take on this is an expansion of the drilling program to either prove up from resource to reserve, or to put more resources onto the BC Vein. For those who do not know the difference between a reserve and a resource, think of fishing. A reserve means you have the fish hooked, in the boat, and are trying to decide how you are going to cook it, while a resource is the fish is hooked, you have it close to the boat, it looks big, but it is distorted a little by the water, and it might still get away. This company, we have stated on numerous occasions, is going to become an operating gold mine and we believe sooner rather than later. Many investors however prefer to pay higher prices for a sure thing, forgetting that the big gains are made when you identify a good stock that is really cheap and accumulate it during the low price cycle."
