I wonder what they will do with Maria when eventually, technology makes the floor traders obsolete? Will she get all excited and start shouting about the numbers going across the screens, without all of that "male power" milling about around her? :^) Yogi

AOCNBC and Maria informed me that AOL was down 1/16 at the opening. Now I can go on with my day.

BTW, a Mark Haines boo boo (I generally this he's great). He asked Phil Orlando about Canadian competition for VISX. He obviously has VISX mixed up with LVCI which has competitor TLCV from Canada. VISX has an upcoming ITC suit with NIDEK which is Japanese. It didn't help that Phil Orlando, the analyst who pumped VISX, didn't know this either.
