Tekboy, Thanks for posting that comparison post. I'd actually forgotten it. I had 10 stocks then, I have 11 today, but with quite a change in where I've focused. I sold half my AOL position when it's drop was under way. I've concentrated on QCOM, JDSU and SEBL. All influenced by the exchange on this thread.

However, I still have not moved quickly enough to reinforce the winners and starve out the lesser players. (Lindy's Russian Army Approach) I have resisted selling too much of long held Techs due to Capital Gains concerns. With the benefit of hindsight, I would certainly have done better paying the taxes. Even now in the 12th month of the tax year, I am resisting selling a couple of long held winners until the new tax year.

I've watched Lindy's decisiveness with admiration since he bailed out of SAP well over a year ago now. I followed him to this thread to keep a finger on his stock picking pulse.
I've been able to move quickly in the tax free accounts, but in any case don't anticipate reducing the number of stocks to less than six. For me half the exercise is the fun of having a stake in a handfull of G & K candidates. I also sleep better with a mix.
Thanks for the post,
Best Regards,
Tom
