Yes, please limit postings to things involving Y2K news articles.

Ron is right, except in order to honor the spirit of fair use copyright laws, you should post excerpts (with hyperlinks) of articles with perhaps a few lines of on-topic comments.

The "Seattle WTO apocalyptic diatribe" is

(a) not on topic by any stretch of the imagination.
Think about it.
Protesters from all over country, plus some international
friends enjoying USA rights of free expression, are visiting
Seattle for some retro 60's style fun at a major international
conference. Their protest party visit does not scale simultaneously
to multiple cities!

(b) is all speculation with no article excerpts.
You can state "I think the end is coming", with the intro
paragraph excerpt , plus a hyperlink to an article from a
reputable news source (except perhaps for the occasional joke
article).

Please remember that the purpose of this thread is to produce news leads for those of us who don't have the time to wade through the bickering on the Y2K discussion thread.

chill out rose......

This thread is strictly for the posting of articles WITHOUT commentary.

Especially your apocalyptic diatribes.....

Take it to the Y2K discussion thread.

Tanks in the streets of Seattle.... Geezus!! yeah right.
