ot: frederick I'm up 400% since April (mainly cuz of gains the last few weeks)... when I first put $500 into the market .. I've added nothing since.. is there a mutual fund out there that I could have done better with?

sure I'm way down off my highs for the year.. but we've taken some funds out and paid some bills.. went to the Cayman Islands, bought a new bedroom set.. opened a savings account and now am working on paying off some medical bills

don't worry about me.. I'll be okay.. really.. I'm just having fun with the $500 I began with... I'm in my early 20s and have had universal life insurance since 18 and I'm working building for our future.. my daughter even has an acct of her own in her name..

once again, I just love how this thread pulls together to look out for everyone.. some say I'm an idiot and haven't a clue what I'm doing.. but I challenge anyone here to take $500 and be able to stay alive long enough to make 3,000 stock trades and NOT lose it all.. in over 3,000 trades I never got so stupid that I lost it all.. pretty amazing if you ask me.. but I've still got LOTS to learn

jim

Jim, My suggestion is Munder NetNet fund and also I believe they have a new tech fund. You need to consider funds. Then you won't have to worry about where the stock is going and you have someone to do all your thinking for you and those guys are pretty smart, now aren't they? Just a suggestion.

Cheers,
Jo
