Capt.... Well, it looks like you were right yesterday about COMS. You were wrong yesterday, however, in saying that CPQ would go to 23 today, at least so far! As Meatloaf said, "1 outta 2 ain't bad!" Or did he say 2 outta 3??? jajajajaja El

You have to learn which reporters know their stuff and which ones don't. Besides OJTs are always enthusiatic and full of ideas about how to make the business better. That's not such a bad thing.

Jack and all -
I just spoke with a fairly senior MS executive. He mentioned that Capellas addressed a forum of "all the top people at MSFT" yesterday. He didn't give me any details but he said that Capellas spoke without slides or notes, and was VERY impressive (this from a guy widely regarded as impressive himself). He said that Capellas took questions from the softies for about half an hour, all tough questions including some from Gates and Ballmer, and that his answers were clear, direct, and illuminating. He felt like Capellas' credibility at MSFT had gone up tremendously as a result of the session and that he was "pumped on CPQ"...

I tried to get him to give me some of the scoop but he just laughed and said he could tell me but then he'd have to kill me...
