He also needs the market to keep Rosey Scenario in town. Both parties need her so that they can keep their 15-30 year projections of 'surpluses' alive and be able to propose 10-15 year spending plans.

MB, i agree...and i hope he won't succeed. the man still deserves some punishment, no?
i know that the average American certainly feels blessed and prosperous in view of the economy's and market's strong performance and that thus AG has achieved demi-God status and slick Willie gets away with just about anything.
and yet, they have created a mirage...the paucity of critical comment on the current political and economic course sometimes surprises me, but then 30-year lows in unemployment and all time highs in stocks are hard to argue with.
now, if only it weren't all built on sand....<ggg>
