There is a strong argument that Barbie DOES kill. Because her proportions are so unnatural, little girls develop eating disorders to emulate her, and of course it is hopeless because no human being has that kind of figure, but they keep trying and develop eating disorders like bulimia and anoerexia, which actually do kill, particularly teenage girls.

So it is really not that strange that people would be protesting Barbie.
