Logic predicates the long-term survival of Brick&Mortar as true assets are an insurance policy against insolvency in a down-turning economy. Valuations based on projected profitability soon diminish as forecasts meet this reality. My advice to the AMZN & BNBN faithful--Get under roof now. BKS is real. Bird

Re: Impulse buying. I would disagree with you on this point. I buy a good deal more books on impulse now than ever before. I enjoy browsing on the web site, especially the out of print section. It seems to me that it takes a lot more energy to get yourself to the store than it does to zap your favorite sites. Best Wishes, Jim

There also is the price differential an in my case there is no SALES TAX (that's motivation right there). Best Wishes, Jim
