re: Does everyone really think that OPEC is led by some illiterate 3rd world, rug trading imbecilles ?

Led by, no. People in the government with big mouths, most definitely. At least Venezuela appears to finally have their spokesman's mouths under control.

Slider,
It's amazing isn't it, that we have heard exactly the same spin at previous market junctures just like the one in your post!:

<<"Some people are locking in profits and liquidating some
length because they're concerned the comments *MAY BE TRUE*," said one player. "

It all goes back to the missing barrels, which sure look like they are missing permanently! Spin spin spin, you are absolutely correct the market has vested interests in other fish to fry and wishes to keep the oil sector on the back burner for dessert.

How much lower we may drop from the spin doctors snake oil medicine I do not know, but there should certainly be a lot more upside than downside risk. I intend to give them none of my upside!

The only thing that gives me pause is the lack of reaction to good news with some companies. It's to be expected isn't it though, when the masters of the universe are telling everyone how much they like the Oil Shortin' Emperors new clothes!

Keep up the good posts, nobody is 100% correct but your percentage is very very good over the long haul. BTW, looks like you were right on FGI and I was wrong, but FGH will recover with Boom 2K.

We all make mistakes now and then but your calls have been better than most. I say hold your detractors to the same level they require of you, zero tolerance and zero mistakes.

Best Regards,

Roebear
