I think that mature, sensitive, tolerant people behave that way all over the world, but certainly that's the way people I associate with behave in this country.

Weird. I always enjoyed watching women nurse their babies. Not watching seems so, well, ignoring of the obvious. I had a teacher in my department who brought her baby to class, and between classes would nurse him, sometimes in the classroom. Some students were embarrassed and annoyed at first. Most of the young women told the boys to live with it.
