This thing cracks me up. Gateway doesn't seem to want to come out and say anything yet but talk about a poorly controlled news!

The Dell story that you quoted says "She said that the Optiplex GX110 was sold to corporate and institutional customers, who expected quality machines that worked every time, which is why Dell had taken the precaution."

I guess Dell finds it OK to stop ship to business customer because the "expected quality machines that worked every time". Man, I didn't realize that applied to just business customers! Dell should watch its PR.
