I am not talking about the "Good Old Boy" with the little woman mentality..I was reared in a Family of Teachers where it was an equal basis..I had five older brothers ..(one was killed in an auto accident at the age of 17) I had to keep up with this gang...lol I saw what the brutal mentality of a self acclaimed AA member and a Cocaine user did to my daughter.. (His parents were reared in Nazi Germany under Hitler) His family is a disaster in Illegal and Legal drug abuse...

It's all cultural. Most people (socialized sheep that they are) respect what a culture tells them to respect. Women are not respected by men or women in many mid-eastern countries. Our society tells us that wealth, beauty, and possessions are worthy of respect (imo). Not our WHOLE society says this mind you- just the media that are commercial (and that reach most Americans) - our societies culture is being shaped by advertising execs- it's no wonder we are in trouble.
