To forgive injustice without taking measures to correct it is to condone/excuse/authorize it.

Obviously, I cannot speak for Chris. However, I try to forgive even as I take measures to correct. One practical reason is to avoid allowing anger to impede fair judgement.

Exactly, and sometimes holding on to the anger provides one with the impetus to make sure the injustice does not happen again. JLA
