Remember pricing can be determined by edict.
The product however is more difficult to change.
I believe that 5 USB ports are sufficient for that class computer.

The main appeal of this computer is it designer colors, small foot print, consumer packaging and ease of configurability via the plug and play USB ports. There is little reason to open the chassis on the Webpc and this should reduce the service. This is a fashion statement and should be purchased by interior designers and Boutiques.

This is an alternative to the dimension series of desktops and not in direct competition with it.

Now, go back to the CPQ thread now and buy a IPAQ. <G>

If you run out of ports just go and buy an inexpensive USB hub. They come in 4 port, 8 port and 12 port config. I think and plug your stuff into the hub... you can plug up to 127 periph.s into one USB port... don't think this is an issue...
