Goutma,

<1) Gateway announcement
2) K6-III 500 on ,18 from Texas Fab
3) K6-III 500 on .18 from Dresden Fab
4) AMDs positive earnings pre-announcement of exceeding the analysts consensus.
5) More analysts upgrades. >

I think you covered the big ones (Gateway, preannouncement and analyst upgrades) but here is a long-shot addition:
- Dell rumors/announcement

Chuck

P.S.: I don't know if I would call anything to do with the K6 family as a event to "propel AMD stock to higher grounds" other than a major OEM making a big deal about EasyNow.

Goutama: <<4) AMDs positive earnings pre-announcement of exceeding the analysts consensus.>>

I believe that Q4 will be reversal of Q1 in terms of AMD corporate announcements on the positive side.

3 warning in row that tanked Q1!

11/11 was the first positive announcement indicating breakeven attainable.

Within two weeks before the "quite period" starts, there is a 70% chance that AMD will announce that Q4 will be PROFITABLE.

Hi Goutama:

Two additional items to add to your list:

6) Additional arm's length awardssimilar to PC magazine and Maximum PC.
7) Additionl false start info. wrt some-time-in-the-future competition for the "here and now" Athlon.

Slight rephrasing of #4: $1 billion in revenues. (i.e. revenue increase by 50% (?) over 99Q3).

You might not be surprised by my advice but...Hang on right through to April results. When the general market players accept the role reversal that has occurred in 99Q4, a major revaluation in AMD price is highly probable. It may take hard data to convince the market, i.e. 99Q4 positive results, but I strongly doubt it.
