Re:"Why is INTC dropping like a rock?"

Because the "Intel bug" story is on the wires.

Ref- <Why is INTC dropping like a rock?>

I do not think that it is dropping like a rock.It is slowly sinking.

In either case I cannot tell short term trends. I guess the general perception that AMD is gaining at Intel's expense. We will have to wait for Q4 results, unless Intel makes an earlier announcement for the financial community. Since Intel is sold out, its earnings will definitely rise. I have no idea what it will do with respect to the whisper numbers etc.

Historically the Intel stock gets stuck in a range of +- 25%, and then it suddenly doubles. I have found it impossible to predict when the doubling will happen. The buy and hold tactic has worked best, much to the annoyance of my broker.
