Jim about that Coppermine bug,

I don't think this points to any problems in ramping up Coppermine production. This sounds more like an errata that was discovered very recently. If Intel were truly having production problems (which I strongly doubt), this bug wouldn't have had anything to do with it, or else Intel would have known about the bug for a while and notified all of its customers.

How this affects unit shipments from here on out, I don't know. If this bug only affects 1% to 2% of Coppermines out there (or even 5% to 6%), that's rather insignificant. If anything, this is just another questionable mark on Intel's execution record for 1999, but nothing more.
