Still haven't received my Rio 500. I understand MP3 players are proving more difficult to make than anticipated.

I can understand the skepticism of longer term SIII cognoscenti who have endured the cycles of the video/sound card markets. But SIII is the strongest player in the emerging MP3 market with both the dominant and pioneering player and a website. Plus partnerships with Viacom. So I don't think the street has appreciated this yet.

All the MP3 sites are a mess with differing downloading software. They put your downloaded songs in the temporary internet file in the Windows file, and you have to go find it and then drag and click it to where you want it. This is all so new. But is is so superior in so many ways to the old way of buying a CD from a retailer. And I even think the sound quality is superior to CD's.

So in conclusion, I think one should pay attention to the fundamentals here and ignore the short term movements of the stock.

Given the volume and jump in price, do we have an announcement today?
