It depends on your backup defense and if you count the playoffs, but I'd probably not make the trade. Jacksonville Defense is awesome, and with McNair having trouble in the air, they need to rely on the ground game in Tennesee. Also, Davis plays on a team that always has tanked it in the second half of the season, and it sounds like Snyder is only going to make things worse there with the pressure on Turner.

Hi John,

Wow, tough trade...Eddie George & Jac Def for Stephen Davis. I'm not sure how good Ten passing game will be down the stretch due to Thigpen being dinged...they may have to run the ball more (Bal, Oak, Jac all have decent run def, so he may not put up stellar #'s but he may make it up with recieving yds)...also Jac Def is pretty good, and shouldn't have much trouble with the remaining teams. Stephen Davis should have a decent stretch run, as opposing def must respect the pass. I guess the deciding factor would be what other def you have to start instead of Jac
