CB I have two gifted Grandchildren in a Magnet School here Very low enrollment..The teachers are amazed at an IQ of 135 and 145 at ages 8 and 11..I find them very normal kids..Those are the highest scores ever in this Central Florida School district???

I'm not arguing the lack of creativity in the Asian countries. I think they're incredibly creative and agree with you 100%. Creativity exists in just about every field, to one degree or another. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe I posted an earlier rejection to the idea that Asian countries aren't creative. If not, I am now. =)

Good evening Cobalt, IMO, the purest and highest form of intelligence is "imagination", the ability to form a mental image of something not yet existing. Then creativity comes next. The ability to make it exist.. After that it is all rote.. A great artist has the ability to imagine and create the painting.. The same for the author, the scientist, the mathematician, etc.. But it doesn't go hand in hand.. It is remarkable if it does. And there all degrees in between. So in my mind, how does one test imagination? .As of now it can't be done. Because one person can not get into another's mind.. And ask the right questions of something that is yet to exist.. Anyway have a nice evening and that's how I imagine it is.. c
