CB. I hated stastics..I don't know a thing about them..I never
thought about it until my son told me that they were being entered iinto a National Test. ?? I know their father tested at 140 in kindergarten. But was not placed in the gifted program.
He was the wrong Nationality and his father wore a white collar .
Today he is a Computer Dinosaur. I know my test scores are very high and on occassion the Mensa Nutcases are after me..But It
means little to me. My family have for many generations
been teachers..I was taught to assume a lot of Responsibility,
and Life has not disappointed me since I love people no matter what their color race or creed..I love the helpless and hungry more since they have so little love in their lives..To me that is what life is all about..I bet you are some wonderful Attorney ;-)

Let us take a moment to mourn the very great damage which has been done to our Constitution by Mayor Paul Schell of Seattle.

He has declared a wide swath of downtown Seattle a demonstration free zone. No protest of any kind, peaceful or otherwise.

Some of us, particularly veterans of the Vietnam War and civil rights movements, thought that the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for a redress of grievances was a fairly significant right.

But it doesn't exist today in downtown Seattle. The Constitution has been suspended there. The First Amendment has been declared null and void and of no force and effect.

I hope we all deplore the violence which a small number of vandals engaged in. But when that is used as an excuse to deny basic constitutional rights to law abiding citizens, democracy is in more danger from our own democratically elected mayor than it could possibly be from the bureaucrats of the WTO.
