The news about the Coppermine bug hit the wires in full force after the close. So far there is 3 of them listed in yahoo (all after 1 PM west cost).

Maybe another down day for INTC tomorrow.

Yes I do realize what kind of EPS breaking the $1 billion barrier would result in, and I give that outcome an outside chance...1.2 million Athlons @$300 = $360M, 5 million non-Athlons @ .60 = $300 million, flash = $275 million, communications = $75 million...Presto, there you have it $1 Billion and a bit...Never say never!

If less than halfway through the quarter management can comfortably assure an increase of $130 million in revenues, no reason in my mind to completely count out the possibility of an additional significant increment in revenues given the positive events that have transpired since Nov. 11.

I agree it's a stretch, but wouldn't bet my house against such an "unbelievable" outcome occurring.
