Byron, Marcus has in draft form analyses for a series of fiber-related stocks including FIBR. Marcus recommended taking profits BTW for the time being on DIGL, and pick up POCI on pullbacks two other fiber-related stocks that the already listed at Audioinvestor.com. He likes FIBR and MTST a whole bunch in the optical "networking" segment (The "networking" part is still being hammered out by companies like FIBR, NT, JDSU,and MTST, etc.. part of the reason that this sector is attractive).

The FIBR and MTST writeups along with some Swiss company whose name I cannot pronounce should be up in about a week at the Website. Go to audioinvestor.com then click on the "Features" Section.

Starting the year with TLD and UPCOY, Marcus has made consistently good tech/telcom picks with an eye to comparable PSR and Price/Book ratios.... What we call value stocks with a growth component...

IMO resistance on FIBR is at $20/share. When we clear that then the next resistance level shouod be the old 52-week high of $28/share, and then $46/share thereafter...

If you saw Kevin Kalkhoven's interview on FNN CNBC a couple of days ago (CEO of JDS Uniphase) you'll know that the fiber optic product demand is strong in all three market segments per Kalkhoven- cross country or cross ocean (i.e., backbone), metro, and local consumers....And Mr Kalkhoven sees demand strong in all three market segments way out into the future....

I also personally note that the wireless boom will feed more data back into communications systems that will then also require more fiber optics to move this batch of data too.... Another bullish factor....And FIBR has a couple of products that should sell nicely into these markets....
