Seconds Out, Although I am still on the edge of my seat regarding GMGC, I thought it was interesting that GMGC is now officially looking at foreign countries to extend their myTalk services. I found the first site below while in the help area of myTalk. I decided to go back and look at the different languages offered by Nuance and Speechworks. I highlighted the different languages offered by the two companies. Does anybody have a good logical guess as to where GMGC may be looking in regards to what country (s)? One's imagination could lead you to many countries in the world but only a few stick out in my mind. They are Japan (due to the "possible" relationship with NTT and articles I have read concerning Japan's desire to access the web through wireless means) and other Asian countries such as Taiwan (see Speechworks PR dated 11/17) and Singapore (I will include Hong Kong although I realize it isn't a country:)). There are other possibilities, but as I stated, "one's imagination could lead us to virtually every continent in the world." I know there are many considerations which include building a NOC, costs, and time involved in implementing the service. If anyone has any thoughts please feel free to respond. I will stop rambling again. Take care.
