RE: LEAPS. LEAPS are long-term options. Regular options have a duration (maturity, or life of contract) of up to 9 months.
LEAPS can have a duration of around 2 years.

The fact that LEAPS will be traded for HTCH is significant only if you like to play options, which can be very risky (a lot more risky than playing the stock).

Aside from option players, the HTCH LEAPS have little significance.
