You're referring to the Chicago police of course. My brother-in-law was an army recruiter in Chicago that night and made the mistake of changing into civilian clothes before walking to his car. He was clubbed by the police just like everyone else, indiscriminately. Daley just gave a blanket order to club some heads. Why do people think that the citizens can be an uncontrolled mob, but the police can't?

Seattle does resemble a demonstration that's gotten out of hand. I wonder how many of the store window smashers would do it if they weren't in a mob. And what's all this going to accomplish? Nike and McDonalds will still be doing business as usual.
