Carl, Are you talking about the mass PM they sent everyone. My understanding from reading that was that SI classic was here to stay. Are you sure?

Yeah...sure did Carl. The matter at hand was brought to fruition far more rapidly than I expected, and then a bad scanner sent me back online for info. I remain an SI Ampex board addict. Had tried to stay away many times before...lol..though this last time was quite different. Carl, I realize these are all just message boards ...and all have merits and limitations ....but - for me - the SI Ampex forum has a rich history of succinct insight , humor, civility, and diverse personalities - forged from maybe a little too much common woe with this porcupine of a stock.Many of the most bright interesting people I have run into online reside right here. You certainly are one of them, and your insights and efforts have been invaluable. Point is......DONT GO! lol. Hey, please give this new format a chance...ain't all that bad. But ... your decision. Glad at least that you'll still be posting. And personally, when I skim through the dozens of Yahoo posts each day that I can - Cprohman will certainly be a place to stop and read with interest and great respect. ( but awww cmon...stick around!) <g>
