Gary, took me some time to figure that out earlier this year. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but you get news with both packages, which I like, and have portfolios set up outside of qcharts on the website and have them configured to email briefs (with links to the full story) hot off the press. I find I get most stories within 10-30 minutes of the article timestamp which works for me.

The premium package gives you earnings estimates, insider trading and premium profiles...I think that's about it.

Honestly, the first call was nice to have, but the insider trading data used to be inconclusive and as a result I found it to be totally misleading. Quote.com never responded to my concerns (this was a couple years ago), and Vickers, whom I believe they get the data from, suggested Quote.com may have a limited data agreement of some type (if you can believe that) and I'd be better off getting the data from them. I actually paid Vickers for a report at the time and it was quite different than what quote.com displayed for the same stock. Soooo, if you can live without first call and zacks...stick with the $79 version.

I recommend Qcharts otherwise.

regards,
