The generalization given can only be as effective as the skills, knowledge, and experience of the individual involved permit. I cannot be more specific in words without running on ad nauseum on what is actually a very difficult and complex method to pull off in real time. But I posted it here because in my opinion, we're some of the best. It takes plenty of homework (which I know you do), networking (in gathering the best stocks to monitor), and the mental prowress to jump through a dozen hoops during trading (which, I'm inclined to believe, most of us have on this board.) I can only try and leave one example from today's trading: TJOB- 30d avg volume around 50K. Observed price barrier- 6 1/2. PPP 20-40% ($8-$10+ minimum expected climb according to my interpretation of it's graph) When volume rose above average volume, I began watching it like a hawk to see if it would break 6 1/2...once it did, the already rising volume said ****WINNER***.
