Stan,

<< NTAP.........STORAGE..... >>

I am long time holder of EMC and really pretty up on it (a little more than on NTAP). This post to Sue you just made was VERY well stated and I will simply say I most enjoyed it.

hi snasnaway, i know all about storage..i have had emc for 4 years..i guess i did word my question well..i presented emc to this thread as a potential king ...but learned it probably is only a prince..so i guess my real question would be "why would ntap be a potential gorrilla and emc not???" sorry for not wording it right..

Great post on NTAP and EMC. I believe Downsouth left EMC but stayed in NTAP. The nice thing about EMC, which I still have a teeny bit of, is that it's fairly steady compared to the momentum-rocked QCOM or JDSU. Tekboy posted this link over on the e-thread:

cbs.marketwatch.com

It shows EMC is part of an emerging "virtual economy portfolio" Lehman Brothers assembled. I found it very interesting. NTAP was not on there but probably deserves to be.
