<< I seems that Dell did their homework as usual and is targeting their market segment in detail>>>
Well said. I believe most people here are a bit too familiar with
computer usage now to remember what it was like to
first try to use one.
Like every keystroke must be exact. Use of the *
symbol etc. Reminds me of first days at Boeing, where
it take months to learn the language. WSIL, HTS,
EGT, R cubed( our supervisor, who initials were RRR)hehe,LRE,RTS.
Same here on my computer(Dell, of course) where there are
programs for "Setup WOW! from Compuserve",
"Hyperterminal", "3Com NIC Utility". And I don't know or care just what those actually do.
So I think there is a market for people
people (more in my age group) who haven't used a
computer but want go directly to using it instead
of taking courses in how it works.
Those two buttons on The WEBpc are very important
one to get on the Web, and one to get advice or
solve problems.
The Webpc would make a great Christmas gift
for anyone who hasn't yet used a computer.
