Washington Post article on airport security . . .

Publication of an article on a critical report on the first page of the Washington Post can only help the O'Hare rollout next fiscal year. It starts to look like a 'Mom and apple pie' issue, no matter how expensive.

One of the major security problems referred to was 'piggybacking' after an authorized employee. This could be handled in many places by double-doored traps. Even if two people could fit in, it would be apparent to the person being piggybacked, or the door operator, that something was wrong.

And I had to smile at the last paragraph, which mentioned areas of "weakened access control, including . . . allowing easily observed 'cipher' push-button locks on secure doors. Most of [the] specific recommendations for solving these problems were redacted."

We can pretty easily figure out one recommendation. But I can't figure out why it needed to be redacted.
