Hey, Steve enjoyed your post -- you are the king of wry wit, right up there with Letterman<g>

I actually agree with you about QCharts being a terrific value. QC is only a modest portion of my monthly trading system overhead; I am only belly-aching a little to coax them into fixing some of their worst problems, which I'm sure are fixable given a little time (and these are clearly not the customer's problem; they are not MY problem they are Quote.com's). I would love to see them get their service working well so that I could use it everyday, makes a great portable chart package, including when you're on the road trading or out of the office. And the QFeed/3rd party concept is brilliant, with all the Excel VBA programming you can do, etc. I want to write a VBA/QFeed linked program to automatically update my equity curve intraday, driven off of RTIII Excel trading log files, for example. QCharts is worth the monthly fee just for the great alarms -- nothing like it.

Although some on this thread have reacted vehemently to the mere suggestion that there is a problem at all with QChart's reliability/stability, maybe they just don't know what is going on, or they could be too pedestal/opinion-driven to listen to what constitutes a critical mass of factual problem reports. I'm confident there are cooler technical+business heads over at Quote.com that can handle this feedback and will probably appreciate/react to it more positively. At least, I would hope so -- what we're providing them with here is just honest customer feedback.

Regards, -Steve
