Hi oilbabe,

I won't argue that VRTS is not trading at a high valuation. I will say that VRTS is the best software company I know of. I have followed the company since the beginning of 1995 and used to speak with the current CEO and former CFO on a regular basis until the summer of 1997. The company has fantastic products, a huge unexploited market, high barriers to entry, and no direct competition. (LGTO only competes on the periphery.)

When the market crashes, I'll go long VRTS.

Best regards, John.

wish i knew. don't follow VRTS. but as a rule, the less a co earns the higher it goes in this mania.... if we head down tomorrow and the bond mkt collapses, i'd hit it.... otherwise.. wait, imo. it may go higher.
