the best about the new contract is that the "dubious" financing might have been the last one...NOW we have fulfilled the minimum of 4 million to get the IDB money...lets hope the Irish Development Board reacts fast...and loosens up some needed cash for our future production efforts...

HC, et.al.: Lost in this news was VLNC's 424B5 filing of yesterday afternoon:

freeedgar.com

As a prior threadster stated, hopefully this is the last of the tranches we'll need to see floated by them. As for the news, yup, weird....kind'a sort'a gives you a clue as to how long it really takes the news wires to disseminate information, eh?

So it goes...Meanwhile, $11 is SIGNIFICANT overhead resistance, what with VLNC not having been above that level since mid 1994 when it crashed. If I was shorting VLNC I'd see that as the natural point, in times past, to do exactly this. However, with the past bit of news, juxtaposed against what to me seems to be a nice base forming at the ~$9 1/2 or so level...well...I'd be loathed to expose myself to the upside potential at this point. But be that as it may, it's gonna take some punching to get through $11 me thinks...

Regards!

John~
