Elmer, I remember you said you want to be hornest in a response to my previous msg. OK, what's your hornest view of AMD today and tomorrow? You wrote some AMD puts, right. I think you are serious about your money, right? So you are "cautiously bullish" on AMD. Why?

Good luck to your AMD positions.

Elmer - RE: "Ok... Ok... This is another in a long line of screwups. It is really annoying to see a company that ran like a well oiled machine now suffering blunder after blunder. It is not unlike the criticism I have leveled at AMD in the past. It is embarrassing to be reminded of it but you're right. I hope the recent events are anomalies and not indicative of a long term trend."

Now, didn't that feel good? ;)

While you can be scathing, you can also be honest. Like I said in my previous post, we make out judgements but don't necessarily post them, so don't expect everyone to reply, they probably sensed your honesty.

Now if some of your buddies could see what was right in front of their eyes...

"Satisfied?"

That you aren't always like them, yes.

Elmer Re <<Satisfied?>>

Yes, thank you.

Now go back and tell us about how AMD is still losing money in its MPU business, it's true!!!. Yes, AMD is losing money in its MPU business, when demand is in an all time high, pricing is firm, Intel is struggling and we are in seasonally strong quarter. With Paul and Yousef gone, maybe PB also (I hope not) we really need some contrarian views here. Just look at the EPS competition, it is ridiculous.

This is because Intel has not been pushed by its competitions. Remember AMD's yield problem and late mask fix? It isn't that AMD had done poorly. This is because Intel had the speed advantage and forces AMD to take risk. Now the table has turned. I am expecting the role will reverse again when the next Intel processor is introduced. I would not have give your shit had you been a little mellow then. .
