YES! COST is a great long-term hold. Very customer-savvy. Costco keeps getting a larger share of our shopping budget, along with all our friends' and neighbors'. They have done an outstanding job in the foods area, which has caused us to increase our shopping frequency there. The employees I've spoken to are very happy with the company and I've seen very little turnover at the store I've gone to for the past 7-8 years. I've also dealt with them as a vendor and man, they are hard grinders.

No matter how the economy fares, Costco is going to keep chugging along if they keep their eyes on the ball as they have. I believe there will be interesting opportunities for them to affiliate with online merchants, so their growth could accelerate. Obviously, I'm very bullish on this company. It's a perfect Peter-Lynch-style investment. 10-20% pullbacks are great buying opps.
