Integrity Communications Chooses Viasystems as its Manufacturing Partner for Broadband Wireless Point-to-Multipoint Systems
RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 1999--Integrity Communications today announced the selection of Viasystems as its primary contract-manufacturing partner for Integrity's broadband wireless point-to-multipoint systems.

This partnership will allow Integrity to rapidly meet the surge in demand for broadband fixed wireless communications systems - both here in the United States and abroad.

``We were impressed by Viasystems' understanding of the special needs of a small company in an exploding market sector,' said Lou Steele, managing director of finance and operations for Integrity. ``With Viasystems, Integrity is prepared to move quickly from beta deployment to mass production, and we are confident in Viasystems' ability to respond to deadlines and increasing volumes with the highest quality product.'

``We are excited about our new partnership with Integrity Communications,' said Barry L. Brigman, president, Viasystems-Americas. ``Broadband fixed wireless has huge potential worldwide because this technology can service small-to-mid-sized businesses faster and more efficiently than cable.'

A subsidiary of Viasystems Group, Inc., St. Louis, MO, Richmond-based Viasystems Technology Corp., LLC is an ISO 9000, 9002 and Bellcore electronics manufacturing company that is equipped to produce large volumes of printed circuit boards and fully-assembled products, such as the Integrity Communications point-to-multipoint broadband wireless system components.

Integrity Communications will ship commercial multipoint bandwidth-on-demand systems in December for deployment in the US and overseas, at both microwave and millimeter wave frequencies. In the near future, Integrity Communications will announce a strategic relationship with a very large Pacific Rim electronics manufacturer for a major deployment initiative.

Integrity Communications, Inc., based in Richmond, VA, is a leading developer of broadband wireless communications systems for next-generation, high-speed data services. The company's broadband networking equipment, software and related products enable multiple services over wireless networks at all commercial frequencies making Integrity's solutions the most widely deployable and scalable for broadband wireless local loop on the market today.
