You are right on one point, I am a committed Christian.

Then you understand that before JC can return, a world govt will be formed and utterly fail.

But no one knows how long that govt will be in place, nor what causes the ultimate rise of "The Beast".

I guess you must one of these people who would rather to maintain the status quo FOREVER, whereby this world remains in a tense stand-off, 30 minutes away from nuclear annhilation, people starving, nationalist tensions threatening to thrust entire regions into petty conflict...

Yeah... I can see how you would prefer that, than to trying to establish the governmental apparati that foster conflict resolution, economic/financial assistance, as well as fostering the development of democratic ideals and traditions in developing nations.

Nope... better to raise the protectionist walls of trade, beggar and bully thy neighbor, let the rest of the world blow itself up and just live our lives in pleasant, complacent, isolation.

Sounds to me like you're more a reader of Pat Buchanan than Patrick Henry.

The problem is Fred... that no matter how hard we try to remove ourselves from participating and influencing the world, the world seems to find a way of forcing us to get involved.

So rather than being dragged into resolving world problems (usually through military force and American blood) isn't it just a bit more SANE AND RATIONAL to be engaged in a governmental mechanism that seeks to resolved these issues peacefully and amicably??

I guess I can't expect you to try and understand, especially since your "christian" nature has motivated you to insult me rather than debate me. Did you pray before you decided to call me an idiot?

That's alright.. I forgive you. Now you have to forgive yourself.

It apparently means nothing to you that I have stated numerous times that I only favor world government if the same principles and inalienable human rights expressed in the US constitution are as strictly adherred to as they are in the country. How can ANYONE disagree with that??

A whole world adherring to the same principles as we enjoy as US citizens??

A world where people possess the ultimate right to choose their representatives, and the absolute freedom of speech to peacefully express their opinion??

How can you be AGAINST persuing such an opportunity given the violent and devastating alternatives?

One last point... Either we work as nations to maintain the flow of goods across borders, or military forces will eventually take their place. People griped about NAFTA for years and the world has yet to end, or the US fall into the grip of depression.

Regards,

Ron
