THE NEXT MOVE:

Well, a nice catalyst for the next move would be the
Gateway announcement (supposedly today? and then who
else:

-- Micron?
-- Dell?

Any insights? Information?

Best wishes,
Jim

Chcuck,
Re: Just sitting back and waiting for the catalyst to put AMD firmly into the 30s.

Various components of my recent chart calls of AMD going to 33 and beyond starting right after Thanksgiving are right on track, with the exception of AMD jumping a bit prematurely earlier this week. Overall, AMD is going through a resistance zone, with upward bias toward 30.

There still isn't much short covering yet, and your "30s" will come when shorts start to cover in a more aggressive way.

Short covering should come soon, maybe by next week, and AMD should start an exponential move to the 33 resistance level.

Good luck,
Richard
